Indian Ocean

13th March 2012

It is another overcast day, with a little light rain. The breeze has strengthened and the sea is a bit more lively than yesterday, but very comfortable in a boat this size.

At noon we were in the Indian Ocean 30nm South of the Island of Sumba. We could see the land in the distance, but it is quite hazy, so you could really only just make out the outline. We are hopeful the weather will fine up tomorrow for our visit to Bali, but it is likely we will be in for similar weather to today. At least it is not raining and the temperature is in the mid 20’s C.

Carole went off to mahjong at 1pm, and we had a late lunch before going to the afternoon matinee movie, “The Descendants” – starring George Clooney.  It was a very good movie, and was packed out.

The tradition of bed animals continues.
