At Sea

26th March 2012

It was another cool day on the deck during our daily walk, which at least has led to a big reduction in the numbers of people out there.

There are now lots of fishing boats at sea, and we have seen a number of long line fishing buoys, some very close to the ship.

This morning there was a talk on the North Korean regime that was very interesting, and after lunch, a destination lecture on Osaka.

An hour later we went to a movie called “Margin Call”, which was about the lead up to the GFC.
At around 5pm we began to pass Cheju Island on our starboard side. It is a big island with quite a lot of development on it. It took several hours to completely pass the island.

By then it was time to start thinking about getting ready for dinner. We have organized to combine tables with the couple that have been sitting on their own, adjacent to us, so we are back to having a table of six. We understand that the couple that abandoned us on the first night have done the same thing to a couple of other groups.
